TLC is back with a new series.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive clip of the premiere of Little Singles, friends John, Stephanie, Sammy, Krista, and JJ reunite for a trip to Palm Springs after first meeting at a little people convention.

The group is out at a restaurant having dinner together when John and Stephanie start talking about needing to go to the grocery store or have their groceries delivered.

“Go to the grocery store?” Krista chimes in. “I’ve never really been grocery shopping.”

The entire group looks at her confused, and John questions how she’s 30 years old and has never been grocery shopping herself.

“I mean, my mom has pushed me in a shopping cart and everything,” Krista clarifies. “But like, I’ve never actually gone into a grocery store myself to go grocery shopping.”

“I just order it to my house,” she says.

JJ then jokes in a confessional that she must “live under a rock.” But Krista explains that she suffers from anxiety when it comes to going to the grocery store by herself as a little person.

“It’s the anxiety of it,” she explains. “I don’t want to ask anyone for help.”

“You know, my parents meant well for me. They were just trying to protect me,” she adds in a confessional. “But I think that it definitely made me into an anxious person and it’s something that I have been working on and trying to get away from.”

“I feel judged,” Krista says as everyone stares at her at the dinner table. “Like I don’t want to feel judged. I want to avoid that.”

The new series follows a tight-knit group of friends within the little people community as they reunite in Palm Springs.

According to the show’s synopsis, “John (28) is the heart and glue of the house, confident that his close bond with Stephanie (31) and Sammy (26), their self‑proclaimed ‘Three Amigos,’ is unbreakable. What he doesn’t know is that Stephanie, known for her big personality and even bigger heart, and Sammy, a loud and magnetic presence who thrives as the life of the party, are secretly involved. Stephanie is looking for something real, while Sammy avoids labels, creating tension beneath the surface.”

“When sparks fly between Sammy and Krista (30), the charismatic ‘princess’ of the group, a love triangle emerges, putting friendships at risk. Alongside them is JJ (37), a bold and fearless lifelong performer who returns to Palm Springs after a past relationship, ready to open herself up to love again while bringing an unapologetic energy to the house.”

The series premiere of Little Singles airs on Monday, June 15 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC. New episodes will be available to stream on HBO Max the day after airing.
