😱 Shock in Germany: 8-Year-Old Fabian M*rdered — His Father’s Ex-Girlfriend Identified as the Suspect

 A Mysterious Disappearance

On October 10, 2025, Fabian, a cheerful boy from Güstrow in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, suddenly vanished without a trace. Hundreds of police officers, rescue workers, and volunteers joined a massive search operation. The local community was devastated, clinging to the hope that Fabian would be found safe.

That hope was shattered when his body was discovered days later in a wooded area near Klein Upahl, about 15 kilometers from his home. According to initial forensic findings, the body had been burned, suggesting a brutal attempt to destroy evidence.

Arrest of the Suspect — The Father’s Ex-Girlfriend

On November 6, police carried out a large-scale search operation in Reimershagen, Rostock district. Several properties were searched, including the home of the father’s ex-girlfriend, and her car was seized as part of the investigation.

Later that day, Chief Prosecutor Harald Nowack addressed the media, confirming:

“A woman has been arrested on strong suspicion of murder. The arrest warrant was issued and executed earlier today.”

Attorney Andreas Ohm, representing the suspect, confirmed to RTL that police operations at his client’s residence had been completed.

In a disturbing twist, the same woman had initially alerted police to the discovery of Fabian’s body, raising further questions about her involvement.

Contradictions and Unanswered Questions

In her first statement, the suspect claimed she “accidentally found the body while walking with a friend.” However, her account quickly drew public skepticism:

  • Why was she in the exact forest where the body was hidden?

  • Why did the timing of her report coincide suspiciously with the details now revealed in the investigation?

Authorities believe Fabian may have been killed on the very day he disappeared — October 10 — and that his body was placed near a pond in the woods before being set on fire.
Police confirmed that the likely time frame of the crime was between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. that same day.

Unrelated to the TV Show “Aktenzeichen XY… ungelöst”

Before the arrest, the case had been featured on the popular German crime-solving TV program “Aktenzeichen XY… ungelöst,” where investigators appealed to the public for tips. The broadcast generated 33 new leads, but Prosecutor Nowack emphasized that the arrest was not linked to the show, as it resulted from separate police work.

During the program, authorities displayed a photo showing a fire at the scene where Fabian’s remains were found. Lead investigator Frank Focke told viewers:

“We’re hoping for further clues — maybe the decisive one.”

He later described the existence of “very promising leads” but declined to elaborate, citing the need to protect the integrity of the investigation.

Public Shock and the Mother’s Plea for Justice

Fabian’s death has left Germany in deep mourning. His mother, Dorina, expressed her anguish in an interview:

“Every day I hope to hear that they’ve finally caught the person responsible.”

Vigils and memorials have been held in Güstrow and Klein Upahl, with candles and flowers laid at the site where Fabian was found — a symbol of the community’s grief and the collective call for justice.

The Investigation Continues

As of now, the motive remains unclear, and investigators continue to gather evidence, witness statements, and forensic results. Although a suspect has been detained, no formal indictm

Police assure the public that they are pursuing every possible lead to uncover the full truth and bring justice for Fabian.

🕯️ Fabian (†8) — A child robbed of his life far too soon. His story has shaken an entire nation, and the search for justice continues.
