Doubling Down With the Derricos star Karen Derrico recently sent a bold PSA about her ex, Deon, after folks on social media made a false assumption.

On April 13, the TLC personality took to Instagram with a video clarifying the paternity of her brood of 14 children.

“All 14 of my children have the same Father!!” she declared in the overlain text.

“Hey, y’all! So I posted a few days ago about me having seven miscarriages and six pregnancies,” Karen began her video message. “And when I showed my children and my age, people said their math wasn’t mathing. So your girl is going to break it all the way down for you, OK?”

The reality star, 45, then showed a clip of her with each child and her age when they were born.

In addition to singletons Darian, 19, and Derrick, 14, Karen and Deon share: twins Dallas and Denver, 13; quintuplets Deniko, Dariz, Deonee, Daician and Daiten, 11; twins (originally triplets, but their brother Carter died shortly after birth) Diez and Dior, 7; and triplets Dawsyn, De’Aren and Dyver, 5.

“So there you have it. I hope that gives you some clarity. Six pregnancies, 14 babies,” she shared, noting that many followers want to know how she “stays so thin.”

“I am running behind 14 children!” she reminded them. “And you also want to know: Are they all from the same man? Yes, they are. All 14 only have one mommy and one poppy, and he’s tagged in the post.”

Next, Karen and Deon’s kiddos joined their mom on the screen while singing, “One mommy, one poppy.”

Although the couple announced their divorce in June 2024, they remain dedicated to amicably co-parenting their kids.

“Together, we remain unified in the parenting of our 14 beautiful children—their well-being is our priority,” Deon and Karen said in a statement to Parade via TLC. “We thank everyone for their understanding and support as we move forward for the good of our family.”
