OutDaughtered stars Danielle and Adam Busby are looking back on the 10th anniversary of their TLC series with a look back at its very first episode.

On their podcast More Than Reality, the couple reflected on the birth of their quintuplets, Ava Lane, Olivia Marie, Hazel Grace, Riley Paige, and Parker Kate. They also have one older daughter, Blayke Louise.

In a caption to the podcast’s accompanying YouTube video, the Busby’s wrote, “We’re taking a trip down memory lane — back to the very first episode of OutDaughtered! For the first time in 10 years, we’re watching the day our lives completely changed: the birth of our quintuplet daughters.”

“From the chaos of the NICU to the miracle of bringing five babies home, this one brought back all the feels — tears, laughter, and powerful reminders of God’s faithfulness through it all. Grab some tissues and join us for this heartfelt reflection on the miracle that started it all,” the statement concluded.

Fans felt the emotional podcast episode gave them a new perspective on the triumphs and tribulations the family endured outside of TLC’s cameras. They shared their reactions in the comments section of the video and encouraged the couple to post similar content.

“I always rewatch the OutDaughtered seasons and episodes repeatedly and enjoy it a LOT. But now, with your new explanation, rewatching the episodes again will give me a new perspective,” wrote one follower.

“Enjoyed this a lot! You asked for feedback; keep the episode reviews coming. Always enjoy your vulnerability,” penned a second viewer. A third shared, “I got really emotional with you. Especially now, 10 years later, knowing the ‘outcome’, but it must have been so nerve-wracking at the time.”

Will ‘OutDaughtered’ return to TLC?

Parade previously reported that there are no current plans for OutDaughtered to return to TLC for Season 11. During an Instagram Q&A, Danielle and Adam Busby wrote, “Currently not filming or on the schedule to film.”

The series first aired on May 10, 2016. The premiere episode, titled “Make Room for Quints,” introduced the Busby family and their newly born all-girl quintuplets.

New seasons of the TLC series typically aired once per year. However, there was a two-year gap between seasons 8 and 9. The 10th season of OutDaughtered aired between May and June 2024.

Danielle and Adam Busby continue to maintain an active social media presence. They regularly update fans about their life on their More Than Reality podcast, which is available on streaming services and YouTube.
