Who’s dominating Survivor 50? A new power ranking has been leaked, and the results are quite surprising.

Who’s dominating Survivor 50? A new power ranking has been leaked, and the results are quite surprising.

We’re down to our last 11 castaways on Survivor 50, and it’s time for some Survivor power rankings.

We’ve stacked up all 11 remaining castaways as to how likely we think it is they make the Final Tribal Council to give their pitches to the jury for the million dollars and Survivor 50 bragging rights.

To win this season of all seasons is obviously a huge deal. Who is our favorite to win right now? Who do we think is at the bottom of the leader board?

Let’s run through how things look at roughly the game’s halfway point as to which castaway has the best chance of being named the Sole Survivor by season’s end.

11. Rick Devens

Look, we love Devens. He’s the Indiana Jones of idol-finding and the best Kirk that Christian’s Spock could ask for. He saved his butt with his fake idol scheme at Tribal, no doubt about it. However, he might be playing on borrowed time at this point. How he navigates his fake idol gambit will determine how long he has left before heading to jury. We’d love a Devens win, but we just don’t see it happening right now. Playing in “the middle” always has its risks, but he just made a big commotion and has lots of attention on him. Perhaps he can find his way out of this jam? How long will the general population at camp think he has a real idol? That handcrafted trinket will determine his game.

Emily Flippen is the king of reaction shots and has the adaptability to forge a union with anyone in the game. However, this latest preview mentioned her “flip-flop” nature. She’s perhaps too eager to talk at times about secret plans, too, which might have her in as much of a quagmire as Devens’ fake idol. We’re not sure how much of a threat she is to win right now, but we could see her sticking around for a bit. Eventually, we’re guessing she’ll fall victim to a bad day on the island or just winds up on jury because of a numbers game. She doesn’t seem to have strong standings with the two biggest alliances on this season; we wonder if it’s just a matter of time for Flippen right now.

It breaks our heart to have Christian this low, and it’s been just a joy to have him around on the island as long as we have this season. Getting him back on Survivor for the big 50th reunion gave the fans what they wanted. He hasn’t disappointed, either. His move to get Mike White out is the most impressive moment of gameplay he’s had in his Survivor tenure. However, the robotics professor is just too smart for his own good. He’s always been seen as a threat to win on his intellect alone, and we’re guessing the fact that everyone knows what a smart guy he is will bite him in the butt in the end. “The middle” will not serve anyone kindly in this reunion season. Hubicki forever, though!

If there’s any member of the alleged “Zoom alliance” that feels next out, it’s Stephanie. Coach and Chrissy being gone will limit her gameplay as Jonathan and Joe seem more adaptable to join in with other alliances based on what we’ve seen. She’s got her proven brawn to contend in the individual immunity challenges, and we think her social game is an underrated part of why she’s stuck around like she has. However, she feels like a possible casualty of the Cirie-Rizo-Ozzy freight train on a future episode as it seeks to weed out the “honor and integrity” folks it can’t flip.

7. Aubry Bracco

Alright, we’re not sold on the “Aubry is winning Survivor” theories. She’s one of the game’s great stealth candidates, a survivor in the literal sense of the word who outlasts just when you think her game is out of gas. She can maneuver the social game as well as anybody on the island not named Cirie or Rizo, and she seems like the best positioned in the middle to withstand a push from the other castaways. She’s always a threat, but we could see her eventually succumbing to her general competency as a Survivor contestant having done this so many times. What will her alliances look like from here, especially if the Devens-Emily-Christian trio starts to weaken in the episodes to come? We’re not expecting her to go anywhere just yet, but she’s not our guess to win. She could, though. She’s currently the betting favorite on Kalshi, so consider that as a sign this ranking could look really bad by season’s end.

Tiffany has been one of the unsung winners on this season of Survivor; her work to seemingly flip Joe of all contestants against the “honor and integrity” bunch is reason alone to give her some real plaudits. How she’s able to align a new alliance with, say, Joe and/or the Cirie-Rizo-Ozzy alliance could keep her in the game until the closing rounds. We’re not even ruling her out of making it to fire. However, her friction with Jonathan, one of the favorites to win right now, could be her undoing if Jonathan is able to rally support to vote her out eventually. Even so, Tiffany is going to be more than deserving of a return trip to the island one day. She’s a multi-game Survivor contestant to us.

5. Ozzy Lusth

Ozzy has been one of the steamrolling candidates so far in this game; his alliance with Cirie and Rizo right now and his flexibility to rope in other castaways makes him a real threat to stick around for a good while. However, you never want to be the third person in a three-person alliance. Cirie and Rizo clearly have the best bond going right now on all of the island, and it wouldn’t shock us if Ozzy found himself on the outside looking in eventually. Still, we’re glad he got his return chance and that he outlasted “Coach” in the game. Perhaps that’s a win for Ozzy in and of itself.

Joe played the “honor and integrity” card as hard as any player has in Survivor history through his alliance with Eva. However, he’s evolved his game into being more open to the strategy necessary to mesh with some of the all-time Survivor players who expect you to get your fingernails a little dirty and scheme to get ahead. Now, that’s not to say Joe is getting down to Rizo-levels of clever deception, but outside of his dust-up with Devens, he’s actually playing a multi-faceted game. The edit right now might not aggressively point toward Joe winning, but we do think he’s got a pretty great chance of making it to Final Tribal right now. Even if he doesn’t win, going back-to-back in the final stage of the game in your two trips to the island would mean you’re doing something right. Depending on what happens with the second player on this list, Joe might could even score some votes for his game play this time.

3. Rizo Velovic

Rizo is the new Survivor star, having greatly benefitted from two-straight seasons of taking the spotlight and his shark-in-the-water social game that can flip with ease and manipulate just about anyone on the island. Rizo plays hot and often bends the game to his favor, but he’s got an Icarus complex that makes us wonder if he can ever go the distance in the game. Rizo always feels like he’s going to play his hand a little too aggressively at times, even if that hasn’t hampered him so far in the game. Of the Cirie-Rizo alliance, one of them is our favorite to win Survivor 50. We’re expecting Rizo to go out valiantly whenever his time comes, but it won’t be until close to the end. Can he make it to Final Tribal? We won’t rule it out right now; we see him and Joe on roughly equal footing in terms of odds.

Jonathan has adapted his gameplay from being the watchful guardian to a more unpredictable castaway. Sure, his “honor and integrity” alliance took a huge hit on Wednesday, but we still think he’s in fine position to make it all the way to Final Tribal. Of Jonathan and Joe, we feel like the jury will commend more of Jonathan’s aggressive adaptation than Joe’s modest growth if they’re both in Final Tribal at the end of the game. He may not win, but we feel like Jonathan is one of the biggest threats in this game right now who holds real power despite his weakened alliance. When you can still position yourself like that in Survivor, you’ve got as good a chance as any to win.

1. Cirie Fields

Everything is coming up Cirie during Survivor 50. Nobody is playing the game right now as well as she is. She’s in her sixth overall Survivor game (including one in Australia), and the clear reverence her fellow castaways have for her is carrying her far in this game. She’s already one of the game’s all-time great social strategists, and her alliance right now with Rizo and Ozzy is the game’s most ironclad. Can Cirie finally close the deal after coming close so many times in the past? This might finally be her victory lap, but we’re not fully crowning the champion just yet. At least right now, she deserves to be at the top of our Survivor power rankings. Is she too obvious a likely champion right now? Is the Aubry smoke real? Our head and gut tells us to push all the chips in on Cirie right now. Just watching her dominate the game play by single-handedly running the island’s social game is just so impressive.
