Deon Derrico told his TLC fans late last year, that the massive family was filming for another season of the Doubling Down With The Derricos show. This weekend, he shared that the premiere date for Season 6 has now been confirmed by TLC. Read on for more information.

When Will Season 6 Premiere?

On Sunday night, Deon took to his Instagram profile page, as did his ex-wife, Karen, to share that TLC announced the premiere date for the popular show. The official poster for the new seaosn showed the entire family. They all looked happy, despite Karen and her husband’s divorce last year.

The new season of the show will premiere on TLC on May 30 at 10/9c. The dad of 14 kids didn’t say much apart from the fact that the show returns. In fact, many people suspected that it might not return because Darian left home to go and study, and the marriage broke up.

Karen Hinted A New Season As Well

After being quiet for a while, about a month ago, Karen Derrico suddenly started sharing about each of her children on social media. That’s often a sign that an announcement will arrive soon. The focus seemed to be on the older kids, like the teenager quints, Deonee, Daician, Daiten, Deniko, and Dariz.

What will fans see? Well, more will likely come about the divorce that seemed rather toxic. Remember, they bickered on Valentine’s Day when Deon and Karen went to check out the progress on the new house. Probably, fans will also see more of GG, Deon’s mom, who had several cancer scares. And, possibly more will come about Karen’s health.

Vacations And Other Outings?

Historically, seasons revealed the family going on vacation, much like the OutDaughtered kids. Sometimes, Karen took the kids on educational tours. Meet and greet events also got a bit of coverage. But, knowing the network, there will be a lot of drama as the more extreme the drama, the more the network seems to promote their shows.

Nevertheless, in the comments section, fans seem thrilled to finally hear the premiere date. One of them wrote, “Amazing news 👏❤️ I missed this family on the screen.”

Another enthusiastic fan said, “This just made my day I got my birthday gift earlier once again 🙌❤️I get to see you all once again my tv family.” Meanwhile, another happy camper penned, “My kids ask me every other day when the new season is coming on. I can finally tell them lol.”

So far, on @tlctv on TikTok, no teasers have arrived in recent weeks for Doubling Down With The Derricos. The same goes for YouTube. Nothing new arrived on the network’s Instagram page, either. However, something should soon arrive to give a better idea of what to expect in the new season.
