đ„ Kody Brown Issues an Apology to Christine After Their Split â But Her Chilling Reaction Stuns Fans

Kody Brownâs ex-wife apology tour hit a snag on Sundayâs episode of Sister Wives, with the âfatherâ of 18âs latest efforts to make amends coming across as âweirdâ to his former spouse Christine. Â
As fans of âSister Wivesâ know, Kody revealed to his only remaining wife Robyn earlier this season that he planned to meet up with each of ex-wives to apologize for his actions following their respective splits. Kody kicked off his ex-wife apology tour by meeting up with Janelle in North Carolina and on Sundayâs episode, he prepared to deliver his second in-person apology, this time to Christine, who was the first to exit the Brownsâ plural marriage in 2021.Â

âMore like A paycheckâŠâ
Prior to meeting up with Christine, Kodyâ who said he invited Christineâs husband David Woolley to join them out of ârespectââ told viewers he wasnât expecting the conversation with Christine âto be easy necessarily,â nor was he hoping to receive the âsame kind of tenderness and graceâ from her as he did from Janelle.

âI think the last time we talked about our relationship may very well have been when she told me sheâs done and she wants to move,â Kody recalled during the episode. âI mean, I didnât react really positively to any of that.âÂ
While Kody recognized that he was âwalking into an environment where trust has been killed,â upon sitting down with Christine (and David), he was quick to apologize for their breakup, particularly for âhow it all went down.âÂ

âI want to apologize for being angry about it,â Kody continued. âI want to apologize for the struggles ⊠I want you to be able to heal.â Â
In response, Christine assured Kody that it was all âin the past.âÂ
âApologies are nice, but Iâm saying itâs OK,â she added.Â
In true Kody fashion, he then took some credit for Christineâs current state of wedded bliss, pointing out that if he hadnât âmessed it upâ between himself and Christine, she wouldnât have found happiness with David, whom she married in 2023.

He then went on to tell Christine (as he told Janelle) that he regretted saying after his trio of divorces that he âdidnât loveâ any his ex-wives, insisting that his words had come from a place of anger.Â
âI was angry and that wasnât cool,â Kody said.Â
Despite previously taking issue with Kodyâs claim of never loving her (or Janelle or Meri), Christine revealed on Sundayâs episode that she found it âweirdâ for Kody to bring up his past feelings for her in the presence of her current husband.Â

âAgain, you just got to let that go,â she told viewers of Kodyâs remarks. âLook, I remember what it was like, but Iâve got a new husband here now and itâs weird, right? Itâs weird, man. Thatâs a weird thing to say.
âI have a husband right here now, you know, [for Kody] to [say], âI used to love you,ââ she continued. âI canât imagine whatâs going through Davidâs head right now. ⊠That doesnât affect me, thatâs you.âÂ
While viewers will have to wait until next weekâs episode to see the conclusion of Kodyâs apology to Christine, in a preview of Sundayâs episode, Christine continues to note how âweirdâ Kodyâs remarks are coming across, before David weighs in on the topic. Â

âYou know damn well you loved her because you wouldnât have gotten married, you wouldnât have had all these kids, if you didnât love her,â David says of Kody.Â
Meanwhile, back at the face-to-face, Kody acknowledges to Christine and David that there is âso much water under the bridge,â before reminding them that heâs there to apologize.Â
âStart with your kids,â David replies, referring to the many children from whom Kody is estranged.Â
