Jana Duggar and her husband, Stephen Wissmann, are expecting their first child together.
The couple announced the news Monday with a joint Instagram post.
“We are so excited, January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family!” read the caption of a three-slide carousel showing Wissmann kissing the “19 Kids and Counting” star and cradling her baby bump.
“We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!”
Jana’s sister Jill Duggar commented on the photos, “So excited for y’all!

For the outdoor maternity shoot, Jana, 35, wore a green dress that accentuated her growing belly, while Wissmann, 32 — a businessman, private pilot and musician who also comes from a large, religious family with 13 children — sported a white collared shirt and khaki pants.
The two tied the knot in August 2024 in Prairie Grove, Ark., in front of 500 guests during a “classic, elegant” ceremony at The Grand at Willow Springs.
Jana wore an off-the-shoulder, ivory satin ballgown as her father, Jim Bob Duggar, walked her down the aisle to the song “Holy, Holy, Holy.”
Most of the bride’s sisters were involved in the nuptials, with Jessa Duggar Seewald serving as the matron of honor. Jinger Duggar Vuolo, Joy-Anna Forsyth, Johannah Duggar and Jordyn-Grace Duggar were bridesmaids, along with Jana’s sister-in-law Abbie Duggar.
While Jill was in attendance, she was not part of the wedding party.
Jana, who is twins with John David Duggar, is the eldest daughter of Jim Bob and wife Michelle Duggar, who have 19 children.
Jana and Wissman met via their families; her brother Jeremiah Duggar is married to his sister Hannah Duggar.
